I used to think a small world kept me safe.
I thought keeping a tight circle meant I would never lose anything. I was wrong. I was only hiding.
Small worlds are weak. If you rely on only a few things, losing one ruins everything. Making your world small does not stop loss. It only makes the hurt feel louder when something leaves.
We cannot control life. People move. Times change. The walls we build to protect us often just trap us.
True peace comes from opening up. Accept that things change. Stop trying to control everything. Find your strength in your daily habits instead.
I am learning to let my world grow. I trust that I can handle change. My safe space is not made of walls. It is made of the honest things I do every day.
We do not have to live in fear.
