Neither should I."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When I look at the natural world, I don\u2019t see judgment. I see trees growing in every direction they need to, stretching toward light without apology. I see animals of all sizes, shapes, colours, and instincts\u2014all doing what they need to do to survive and thrive. I don\u2019t see a single flower berating itself for blooming too soon or too late. I don\u2019t see shame anywhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yet somewhere along the way, I was taught to turn that shame inward. To measure my body, my feelings, my needs, and my pace against someone else&#8217;s idea of what\u2019s acceptable. To believe that if I didn\u2019t match the \u201cideal,\u201d I had somehow failed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But nature reminds me otherwise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A stormy sky isn\u2019t ugly. A bear in hibernation isn\u2019t lazy. A snake shedding its skin isn\u2019t dramatic\u2014it\u2019s simply doing what\u2019s necessary. There\u2019s no guilt in their process. No self-loathing in their instincts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So why should I shame myself for being tired, hungry, soft, wild, angry, vulnerable, slow, changing?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nature doesn\u2019t ask its creatures to be anything other than what they are. And I want to live that way too\u2014without shame, without apology. Just present. Just whole.
