The Lord gave these people the wisdom and understanding to do all the skilled work needed to build the Holy Tent.”

God is the one who grants us wisdom and understanding to perform the skilled work required to fulfill His purpose. If the work you are doing aligns with God’s will—a holy work that glorifies His name—you can trust Him to equip you with the skills and guidance needed to accomplish it. However, work that involves dishonesty or harm to others cannot come from God but from another spirit entirely.

This scripture reminds us that when we commit to doing the work God has commanded, He faithfully provides the ability to do it well. Yesterday, I was with a friend of mine, someone I normally do training sessions with. She is as passionate about the domestic work industry as I am, and when we get opportunities to conduct training, we often do them together.

During our time together, I reflected on something profound: I’ve never had to sit down and meticulously plan out every detail of how I will run Graceful. Instead, I’ve allowed the Holy Spirit to guide me step by step. This morning, during my devotion, I came across Exodus 36:1, and it spoke directly to my heart. Bezalel and Oholiab were not trained in schools or taught by human wisdom. Their wisdom and understanding came directly from the Lord because they were doing holy work, work that brought glory to His name.

This resonates deeply with me because Graceful has always been a ministry. From the very beginning, I’ve run it as a ministry, following God’s instructions in all that we do—whether training or coaching. Recently, I’ve felt that God is leading Graceful into something new. I don’t yet know what it is, but I see and perceive that change is coming. For now, I wait, surrendering everything to Him and trusting that He will reveal His plans at the right time. I’m excited to walk the path He has set for me and for Graceful because I know it will ultimately glorify Him.

God’s wisdom is not an alternative to learning but an essential complement to it. Even the ideas of further education and skill-building are inspired by Him. As we work to fulfill His calling, He provides the wisdom, understanding, and resources needed to do the work well. This reflection isn’t just for you who read my posts—it’s also for me. Writing is my way of processing, encouraging, and reminding myself of God’s faithfulness.

Let us all strive to do the work God has called us to do, knowing that He created us with the ability to fulfill His purpose. When we dedicate ourselves to working for His glory, He will equip us with everything we need to succeed.

Have a blessed day, and may God’s wisdom guide you as you embrace your calling. 🖤

Exodus 36:1 ICB “[1] So Bezalel, Oholiab and every skilled person will do the work the Lord has commanded.
