God created woman from man and presented her to the man. Genesis 2:22 says, “Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib, and he brought her to the man.” It was never the other way around—God didn’t present Adam to Eve, He presented Eve to Adam.

So, when a woman claims that God told her a certain man would be her husband, it can often be misunderstood. It is God who presents you to your husband (divine orchestration), but it is the man who gets the revelation. Adam, upon seeing Eve, said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh” (Genesis 2:23). The recognition, the revelation of who she was, came from Adam.

I’m not saying a woman can’t have an inkling of who her future husband might be, but that revelation will be fully confirmed when the man also receives it and pursues her. Have you ever seen a woman begging a man for marriage? Proverbs 18:22 reminds us, “The man who finds a wife finds a treasure, and he receives favour from the Lord.” It is the man’s role to find and pursue.

A man who truly loves you and is committed to you will go to great lengths to show it. I was once in a relationship that ended because the man didn’t want to make things official. I knew it had to come from him, so I didn’t push it—I simply walked away. If you find yourself having to do everything to win a man, it’s a sign of dysfunction. You are building your relationship on sand, and when the storms of life come, it will fall apart.

Matthew 7:26-27 says, “But anyone who hears my teaching and doesn’t obey it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand. When the rains and floods come and the winds beat against that house, it will collapse with a mighty crash.”

The lesson here is simple: never pursue a man. Even if you have feelings for him, don’t chase him. I’ve learned that the best relationships are those where the man loves the woman deeply. Ephesians 5:25 instructs, “For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church. He gave up his life for her.” When a man shows unconditional love to a woman, even if she didn’t initially have strong feelings, those feelings will grow over time. Ladies, don’t settle for a man you love more than he loves you. Settle with the man who would give the world to have you.

Learn from me—choose wisely and trust God’s design for relationships. You are worthy of being pursued, cherished, and loved.

Let me share something with you, ladies.
