You Got Through. But Now It’s Time to Come Home.

Posted on April 22, 2025 by Kate

Masculine energy got you through. But it’s not the home your soul wants to live in.

You survived because you had to. You led, you fixed, you carried, you handled. You showed up when no one else did. You made the decisions, paid the bills, wiped the tears—sometimes your child’s, sometimes your own. You figured it all out because there was no other option. And you got through.

That fire, that sharpness, that doing energy—it was your armour. It kept you safe. It made sure the world didn’t swallow you whole.

But now, that armour feels heavy, doesn’t it? That constant readiness, that tight jaw, that braced chest—it’s not where your soul wants to stay. It’s exhausting to live in a state of constant alert. Exhausting to never soften, to never lean, to never rest.

Masculine energy was the bridge, but it was never meant to be the destination.

Your soul is whispering for something different now. Not because you failed, but because you evolved. It longs for slowness. For warmth. For stillness without guilt. For the kind of peace that doesn’t ask you to earn it. For a way of living that doesn’t feel like a battle.

And this softness you’re drawn to—it’s not weakness. It’s truth. It’s the truth of your body unclenching. Of your spirit remembering it’s allowed to want more than survival. Of your heart saying, “Let me feel again.”

There’s a home inside you that isn’t built on productivity or performance. It’s built on being. On breath. On presence. On grace.

You don’t have to throw away the parts of you that carried you here. But you don’t have to live in them anymore.

Come home. Your softness has been waiting.
